This ballpoint pen belongs to our latest collection, Apollonio, inspired by the work of 15th century master Apollonio di Giovanni, a Florentine painter and miniaturist. He was the head of a celebrated workshop where wooden chests for domestic use were finely decorated. Apollonio pens feature glossy or satin surfaces that are treated with a special technique conceived in our workshop, reminiscent of ancient wood treatments and shellac finishes. The final result evokes the texture of wood.

APOLLONIO COPPER LUX is a handmade precious resin ballpoint pen with nickel-free 24Kt palladium plated bronze elements and scratch-proof enamels. A beautiful gift for professional and academic milestones, this ballpoint pen adds a touch of luxury to every day. Being the pen handcrafted the final product may differ slightly from the picture.

⚜All our writing instruments are handcrafted in our studio in Florence with traditional methods and techniques. Only a few people know that the first Italian fountain pen was built in the early 1900s in Florence by a goldsmith; we’re honoring such heritage with this new collection of ballpoint pens.

🎁All our pens are shipped in their gift box and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by ourselves (designer Valerio Salvadori and master goldsmith Marco Frangini). The ballpoint pen includes an international standard ballpoint refill with gel ink (Schmidt, Germany).
